Overview
Express Entry is a federal system that ranks the profiles of skilled workers and sends invitations to some of them to apply for permanent residence. A profile earns points for things like age, language results, schooling and work history.
A ranking is not an invitation, and invitations depend on rounds the government chooses to hold. Our part is to help you present an accurate profile and to prepare the application should an invitation arrive.
Who this suits
- Skilled workers with work experience outside or inside Canada
- Graduates who want to understand how Canadian study and work count
- People comparing Express Entry with a provincial route
What to gather
- Language results, or a plan for when to take the test
- Education records and any credential assessment
- Job letters with duties, hours and dates for each role
- Passports and identity documents for everyone on the file

Questions about this route
No. A score places a profile in a pool, and invitations come in rounds that differ from one to the next. We show how the score is built and what could move it.
No consultant can promise an outcome. Final decisions on applications are made by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). This practice is independent and does not speak for any government body.
A job offer is not a condition of every Express Entry profile. Which factors count towards a score changes over time, so we check the current rules with you.
A profile can be updated while it stays active, and changes can alter its score. We explain what to update and when.
